Welcome to Hogwarts Distance Education, I hope you enjoy seeing our fun as much as I have had in the planning of it. Setting up my schoolroom has always been a big fun deal to me. I do rea;lize that the children are getting older, themes are kind of wasting away for them but I wanted just one more. Just one more big thing before they are just too old to really have fun with it anymore.

The idea started with a few posters and a yahoo group. Then of course we had to have a Honeydukes and before you knew it the kids had thrown around ideas, I saw Harry Potter parties online and this little idea has taken on a life of its own. Because like me my children have to go all out so to speak!

Week 1 2017 2018 Magic Fun

To kick off our first back to Magic School day, we watched the best movie ever, Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them! Skyler absolutely adored it she said it was even cooler than Harry Potter movies! It must have something to do with the fact that it was all about the animals of course! Today was all about the Magical Creatures as far as Skyler was concerned.

For Cauldron Cooking she brewed up a cool pixie punch smoothie! (blueberry smoothie for ya muggles).

She drank from her super cool hand painted Herbology glasses too!

This is our class pixie! He likes to hang around!

We also started our very own pixie mobile! We figured our pixie would like a few smaller friends. Hopefully they will be ready by next week!

Today has also been our first day of Home School Zoology at the Zoo! Of course it is Magic Zoology for Skyler! I am really so grateful she is taking this class. This is the first time she has stepped away from the siblings and mom to fully follow her interest of a career in working with animals! For a first class she did pretty well. She is eager to go back so that is a win in my eyes!

She is extremely proud of her shirt. It looks just like the workers in the zoo!

That was our first week! Happy Spell Casting Everyone!!!
