Weeks 10 and 11

Week 10
What a very long break!! It was really back to routine time by last week. So we picked up some new classes. We did pick up a really cute little owl to add to our collection over the Holidays!

Isn't he adorable? He was too cute for the Dollar Tree in my opinion he for sure needed to come to our little owlery!

We started Dragonology, Charms, Wand Study, History of Hogwarts Castle and Wizards Writings.
They were also pretty suprised to find Dragon Eggs in their Owl Posts

It took me hours to paint those eggs!

One of their first assignemnts was to create a character that would fit into the magical world. Damian made up a wizard, Skyler came up with this Dragon type creature and the character Fox made up was very similiar to Spiderman. He made need to work on that imagination thing just a bit!!

Week 11

Through some geography in there by mapping the Dragons of the world!!

They also did a Hogwarts Story that I got from this blogger! She has alot of cute stuff! For Charms they Picked an animal word and an object they had to combine them together and make a repell spell. It was fun to see what they came up with.

Skyler made an owl seed which makes you healthy somehow and to repell it her spell was owlbegone!  She also came up with a rat candy creature that turns into treats and to get rid of it you say candybegone.

 

Damians was a lion carpet that eats your enemies and to get rid of it you say egg, not sure what that was about but OK then! His other is an owl snake that catches rats and to repell it you say rat.

Foxs is a spider bell that will eat people and its repell is spiderbell no more and a cat tree that will turn into a tree when a muggle comes to repell it you say cat tree no more.

 

Skyler enjoyed making a magic medallion necklace with magic dust aka glitter!

What a nice suprise we all had when we found that Foxs egg had hatched!

 

What a cute little guy! He is an Asian Lung Dragon. Fox could tell me all about him.

He even got a little baby dragon care book.
