Week 2 of Magic Fun!!

     It seems even our cat Gizmo wants to get in on Magic School. This was a rough day. We woke up late and never got through everything we had planned. Regardless of that, we still had a blast!! 

       She started her day off dissecting an owl pellet for Magical Creatures. I felt this was really cool she did not. To her it was gross and poor mouse who had been eaten by an owl. It ended with her burying the poor little bones. What can I say she has a soft heart. I know that comes from me so it is all good. 

Our First Week Back!

      Well we had our Magic School Day for the week and it was a win all the way around! We read, we learned, we played and had a blast! This week she decided to concentrate on frogs for Magical Creatures. That may have something to do with our field trip a few weeks ago. I got some notebooking pages off line to make her a journal of sorts so she could keep track of all the things she does instead of boring work sheets! I also added some dyslexic games from The Thinking Tree since she loves them so much! When we are all done I will have it all bound together for a keep sake. For her cover she chose to color a picture of the Gryffindor crest! 
   

     

     Of course the cats had to get in on the action! I suppose they could be magical creatures too. 

Return To Magic School!

     I cannot believe it has been years since I have been on this blog! I cannot believe I am once again making plans and little books and having a BILLION decoration ideas! I also have a new kiddo to plan for!! My lovely boys have decided Hogwarts is no longer a place for them at 18 and almost 16 so they are passing on the fun this year. My "baby" Skyler is 12!! Like where did the days go? The return to magic school started with a field trip and me opening my big mouth!But then again, who can say no to these two faces? Who could tell these pretty little girls who still believe in magic and fairy tales that no you won't plan any more magic school? Well, I sure couldn't!

    I just had to brag about the year my kids did magic school to this little cutey and the puppy eyes popped out and the cute little pout and the ideas started swarming! So here I am again making books and researching a billion ideas for these monkeys!! I won't lie I am having a blast pulling everything out and planning classes! 

     So here we go again! Some Care Of Magical Creatures, Herbology, Muggle Studies, Arithmancy and Cauldron Cooking classes are on the way! First stop textbooks! 

     So we are going to start off with those classes and see how it goes!
