Welcome to Hogwarts Distance Education, I hope you enjoy seeing our fun as much as I have had in the planning of it. Setting up my schoolroom has always been a big fun deal to me. I do rea;lize that the children are getting older, themes are kind of wasting away for them but I wanted just one more. Just one more big thing before they are just too old to really have fun with it anymore.

The idea started with a few posters and a yahoo group. Then of course we had to have a Honeydukes and before you knew it the kids had thrown around ideas, I saw Harry Potter parties online and this little idea has taken on a life of its own. Because like me my children have to go all out so to speak!

FAIRIES!!!!


           There is nothing more magical than a fairy garden! We wanted ours to stand out so we turned it into a tea party! This little table and chairs has been hers since as far back as she remembers but she is long since out grown it. Re purposing is always fun! This summer she is learning all about fairies and healing herbs. Magic School has been so hit and miss and she really enjoys it so I have to make sure it happens more. We joined Herb Fairies and it is amazing! She will learn all about healing herbs and natural remedies with a fairy theme! How fun is that!



























        
       She also found an aloe plant at Lowe's and we just had to bring it home after she gave it a name! I told her stop naming everything! Her aloe plant is Mr. Douglas Fern. Welcome to the yard Douglas!








        It truly is not that hard to take a topic and Magic it up so to speak! She really enjoys it and i have to do it more for her. Whatever makes learning fun! Happy spell casting!!!
