Welcome to Hogwarts Distance Education, I hope you enjoy seeing our fun as much as I have had in the planning of it. Setting up my schoolroom has always been a big fun deal to me. I do rea;lize that the children are getting older, themes are kind of wasting away for them but I wanted just one more. Just one more big thing before they are just too old to really have fun with it anymore.
The idea started with a few posters and a yahoo group. Then of course we had to have a Honeydukes and before you knew it the kids had thrown around ideas, I saw Harry Potter parties online and this little idea has taken on a life of its own. Because like me my children have to go all out so to speak!

Potions And Pets!
A while back Skyler made a dragons egg and since then it has sat in the Mandrake pot! What she didn't know is that all this time a baby dragon was growing inside it! She just had to wait until it was cold enough for it to hatch! Since Florida rarely sees actual cold I never dreamed this would happen but low and behold some spells were cast and we had BRRRRRRR freezing temps!! Well, out hatched her newest little friend!
A new baby dragon she has named Tempest! I knew I would raise at least one Shakespeare addict!
Fox had been watching Skyler last night while she made potions and he talked her into letting him have some fun too!
He decided on making a potion to swim faster and further! This was from the Mermaids Breathe Potion Set! He had so much fun! I love that he can still act like a kid at times and be his little sisters playmate!
Once again Skyler made a potion that reacted and baby Tempest had to get in on the action as well! What fun nights we have had! No lesson plans, no coaching just kids playing and using their imaginations! Happy Spell Casting!!!
